- Improvement in blood glucose control and insulin sensitivity
- Reduction in food cravings and overall calorie intake
- Support for fat loss while preserving lean muscle mass
- Improvement in lipid profile and cardiovascular markers
- Potential reduction in liver fat
- Enhanced satiety and feelings of fullness
- Support for better metabolic health and energy regulation
- Potential neuroprotective effects in metabolic models
- Improvement in glycemic variability
Dosing Schedule
A common simple protocol used in laboratory studies starts with 0.25 mg of Semaglutide once per week, administered subcutaneously. The dose is then titrated upward by 0.25–0.5 mg every 4 weeks until the individual researcher reaches a comfortable maintenance level. Maintenance dosing is subjective and based on personal response and tolerance.
Suggested maintenance dose based on BMI (once per week):
- BMI 20-21: 0.5 mg
- BMI 22-23: 0.75 mg
- BMI 24-25: 1.0 mg
- BMI 26-27: 1.25 mg
- BMI 28-29: 1.5 mg
- BMI 30-31: 1.75 mg
- BMI 32-33: 2.0 mg
- BMI 34-35: 2.25 mg
- BMI 36-37: 2.5 mg
- BMI 38+: 2.5–3.0 mg
