Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analogue of the natural immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin. Dosing Schedule

A common simple protocol used in laboratory studies is 500 mcg of Selank per day, administered subcutaneously once daily on a continuous (ongoing) basis. At the recommended dosage, one 10 mg vial will last approximately 20 days.

 

Reconstitution Instructions

Each vial contains 10 mg of Selank in lyophilized (powder) form.

•  Add 1 mL of bacteriostatic water for injection to the vial.

•  Gently swirl (do not shake) until the powder is fully dissolved.

•  This creates a concentration of 10 mg per mL.

•  On a standard U-100 insulin syringe: 0.01 mL (1 unit on the syringe) = 0.1 mg (100 mcg) of Selank. Therefore, for the 500 mcg daily dose: draw 0.05 mL (5 units on the syringe).

 

Storage

•  Unreconstituted vials: Store in a cool, dry place or refrigerator.

•  After reconstitution: Refrigerate the solution and use within 30 days. Do not freeze.
